Trojan Horse Defence
Prevention is the key to Trojan defence as clearing up after a Trojan Horse attack is notoriously difficult. The defence rules for viruses and worms are applicable and should be backed up by a degree of system hardening i.e. effective file permissions limited to administrators.
Remember Anti-Virus software is the first line of defence and must be backed up by a security policy to ensure all staff are aware of the risks, look out for hidden file extensions and think twice before down loading files etc.
